Experienced in everything from orchestras and operas to string quartets and solo performances, Sophie is versatile and artistic. She performs classical music, contemporary covers, church hymns, Jewish music and even Bollywood hits on acoustic and electric violin. Sophie regularly performs in the string quartet Destiny's Strings as well as in a violin & piano duo with the talented pianist Matthew Clayton.

WEDDINGS
Sophie is available to play at weddings throughout the UK and beyond! Her violin playing provides the perfect backdrop for your special day. This includes performing prior to the ceremony as guests arrive and during the ceremony itself (imagine sonorous strings as you cascade down the aisle). She can also perform alongside a sophisticated drinks reception or wedding breakfast.
Sophie is happy to play either classical music or contemporary/pop covers, and will even play with high-quality backing tracks if it's suitable. Her performance can be done with or without amplification, and if you'd like something a bit more unique, she can even play on electric violin!
Sophie customises her set list to suit each event she plays, so you
will have a bespoke musical experience for your special day.
CORPORATE & PRIVATE EVENTS
Sophie can play for a variety of corporate events, luxury parties and charity events in the UK and abroad.
This could be light-hearted background music for a drinks reception all the way to high energy sound for a real celebration!
Sophie will provide that bespoke touch to any event.
FAQ
HOW LONG WILL SOPHIE PLAY FOR?
This is completely dependent on the event. A typical wedding would consist of music for Guest Arrivals, Ceremony and/or Exit Music for the Bride and Groom, which could span about 1-2 hours. It's also possible to have music for a drinks reception following the ceremony, or background music during dinner.
Anything is possible - so get in touch and a custom package will be created just for your event!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO HIRE SOPHIE?
As every wedding and event is completely unique, the price will vary depending on the location and duration.
